Unveiling the veil of diamonds, the new 101Feuille white gold ladies’ watch (model: Q2863303) combines professional watchmaking skills with extreme jewellery craftsmanship, perfectly interpreting Jaeger-LeCoultre tradition. Following the release of the 101Reine and 101Feuille rose gold watches at the Venice International Film Festival in 2018, the Jaeger-LeCoultre workshop draws inspiration from its extraordinary heritage and gives new life to the iconic timepieces that first appeared in 1959.
Under the elegant leaves (from which Feuille came), the new jewellery watch is equipped with Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre101 movement. The movement was born in 1929 and is still the smallest mechanical movement in the world. Calibre101 movement has a volume of 0.2 cubic centimeters, a thickness of 3.4 millimeters, and weighs only one gram. However, the movement contains up to 98 parts, and all parts are produced and assembled by Jaeger-LeCoultre craftsmen.
Platinum and diamonds have a new look
Delicate, feminine and timeless, this unique interpretation makes this platinum watch shine. The watch is decorated with 171 diamonds of different diameters (total weight 10.13 carats), each of which is individually set by hand, completely hiding the white gold case. The headpiece of this mysterious watch is shaped like a leaf, and the silver-white dial is hidden under the leaf, and the mysterious mechanism allows it to be hidden or revealed.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre 101Feuille watch in white gold embodies the art of gem setting and hand-carving, providing the brand’s rare craftsmanship (MétiersRares®) with new opportunities to shine. And for women who appreciate more technical, more precious, more gorgeous watchmaking art, the new watch is enough to brighten their eyes. (Photo / text watch home Xu Chaoyang)
